The Home Depot isn’t just a hardware store—it’s also the home of everyone's favorite viral Halloween decorations. If you’ve got space in your yard for a 12-foot skeleton (Hi, Skelly), its spooky season collection is for you.
It may seem a little weird to already be discussing Halloween in the middle of spring (or maybe you’re already dreaming up your theme for this year), but apparently not at The Home Depot. We're officially at the halfway point to the holiday, and the retailer is ready to celebrate.
On April 25, the start of the six-month countdown, you'll be able to shop three decor items for a thrilling price. If you don't want to wait until the fall to get your hands on the most anticipated decor (and want a good deal), the Halfway to Halloween sale is for you.
The items featured in this year’s launch are all outdoor decorations—and yes, that includes the infamous 12-foot skeleton that makes Halloween headlines every year.
THE HOME DEPOT
With Skelly's popularity, it makes sense that Home Depot has released it earlier than ever this year—and it’s even had improvements made to its lifelike eye functionality. Despite these, uh, "personality" upgrades, the price of the skeleton hasn’t increased. It still retails for $300, so expect to see plenty more skeleton celebrity decorations populating your neighborhood this October (aka Swiftober).
If you already have a 12-foot skeleton in your arsenal, think about providing him with a friend. This year, The Home Depot is introducing a new skeletal companion (also complete with matching lifelike eyes in its adorable skull): the 5-foot Skeleton Dog, available for $200.
The Home Depot is also releasing another new (and scarily-tall) outdoor decoration: Frankenstein’s Monster. Available as a 7-foot-tall animatronic, the monster comes straight out of Universal’s Frankenstein and even features lines straight from the classic film. Of course, it also has realistic facial expressions and arm movements. And with recently-released movies like Poor Things (in which Emma Stone plays a Frankenstein-inspired character named Bella, a role that won her the Oscar for Best Actress) and Lisa Frankenstein, your yard won't only be scary but also on top of pop culture trends.
HOME DEPOT
The three products kicking off the Halfway to Halloween sale can be purchased exclusively on homedepot.com starting April 25.
If you're looking to go all out and turn your space into your own personal Halloweentown, don’t worry: The Home Depot will continue to release decorations throughout the year, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to fill your home. If one of these early releases caught your eye, don’t wait until October to get your hands on them—products are only available while supplies last.
