Just in Time for the Holidays, Our Top-Selling Dishes in Red and Green Are on Sale

The Better Homes and Garden’s Artisanal Clay Stoneware 16-Piece Dining Set in green and red is on sale right now at Walmart. The set starts at just $40.

On Christmas Eve our family hosts a candlelit dinner, and it is my favorite holiday tradition. There is something undeniably magical about sitting around a beautifully dressed table with candlelight casting a warm glow across the faces of the people you love most. When my mom hosted this traditional holiday meal, she would break out the good China, but at my house, we use our everyday dishware.

This year I am thinking about brightening our table with color-coordinated dishware because I discovered that the Better Homes and Garden’s Artisanal Clay Stoneware 16-Piece Dining Set in green and red is on sale.

Long ago I fell in love with the all-white Better Homes and Gardens Abbott Stoneware Dining Set. (It’s very photogenic if you like to post pics of your cooking!) The festive red and green versions of this dining set boast the same durable stoneware and speckled glazed finish, and better yet, they mix and match perfectly with the all-season white dishware.

You could dress your table in red and white dishware for a candy cane feel, or go with the classic red and green Christmas combo. If you want a glam feel, use all red plates and accent the table with gold. For a more subdued holiday color palette, opt for the sage green dishware and adorn the table with woodland touches, such as an evergreen swag, and pinecones.

One 16-piece set includes four dinner plates, four salad plates, four serving bowls, and four mugs. Even if you aren’t hosting a big holiday dinner, this festive set would be a great way to celebrate all season long. And how cute would the mugs be sitting out at a hot cocoa station?

Pretty and practical, these plates and bowls are dishwasher-safe, so you don’t have to spend hours at a holiday gathering hand-washing the fine china. And if you want to reheat some leftovers, this dishware is safe to use in the microwave.

When it comes to prepping for the holidays, I’m always looking for ways to brighten our home while sticking to a budget, and stocking up now on discount holiday dishware leaves me a little extra to spend on gifts later.
