Le Creuset’s New Color Is the Perfect Way to Bring Summer Cheer into Your Home

Le Creuset just announced a new color, called Peche, for its beloved enameled cast iron collection. Peche is a peachy ombre color that is perfect for summer.

To say peach is having a moment could be the understatement of the season. Between Pantone selecting Peach Fuzz as its 2024 Color of the Year, Bellinis appearing on brunch menus everywhere, and the imminent arrival of peak peach picking season, the juicy fruit—and its namesake hue—are inescapable right now, and thanks to Le Creuset, there’s yet another fresh way to bring peachy hues into your home: On April 30, Le Creuset announced its newest color, Pêche (French for peach), an ombre tone that perfectly channels the summery feel of a ripe peach.

Le Creuset is known (and beloved) for its colorful enameled cast iron, and the Pêche colorway is the perfect addition to Le Creuset’s rainbow of offerings, which includes nature-inspired hues like Sage and Thyme. As with Le Creuset’s other colors, Pêche is the result of years of research and planning, with a joyfulness that even the most die-hard fans of neutrals can appreciate.

The color starts with a vibrant coral at the base of each piece, before fading to more of a rosy flush at the top. This ombre element creates an effervescent, fizzy energy that makes each item pop; whether it reminds you of your favorite glass of bubbly or the sunrise, there’s a warm, bright feel to Pêche that is just oh-so-summery.

If you buy into the idea that pink can be a neutral (and even if you don’t), glossy Pêche is the perfect way to introduce some playfulness to your cookware collection without clashing with what you already have. It can also stand on its own, though: The energetic, cheerful element of the color pairs as well with a fresh flower arrangement (if you choose to bring it home in the form of a pitcher) as it does with your go-to summer recipe (for those who want it on Le Creuset’s signature Dutch oven).

LE CREUSET

A huge variety of Le Creuset’s offerings are now available in the new Pêche color, so fans of the shade can bring it into their home organically, in whatever cookware they have up next on their kitchen wish-list.

All Pêche-colored items are available from the Le Creuset website, Le Creuset Signature Stores, and select retail partners. Prices start at $11 for the Craft Series Small Spatula, but most cookware costs a couple hundred dollars.
