Move over, spring cleaning—you’ll be summertime scrubbing with this dreamy new seasonal collection from Mrs. Meyers. The BHG editors have been fans of the brand for years (their products are consistently featured in our Clean House Awards), and this is the first time they’ve ever released a seasonal line for summer.
The new fragrances will make you feel like you’re at a sunny backyard picnic—complete with bright dandelions, freshly-cut grass, and ripe tomatoes—rather than standing at a sink full of dirty dishes. The collection drops April 1 and features three brand new scents: Sweet Dandelion, Smelling Fresh Cut Grass, and Tomato Vine.
BHG's social media editor, Ginger Perra, was able to score a sneak peek at the lineup this week, and she's dishing her thoughts: She particularly loves the new Tomato Vine scent, which features notes of nasturtium, tomato vine, and eucalyptus.
“It’s incredibly fresh yet luxurious. Lots of cleaning scents are overpowering, but this infuses the space with a sparkling high-end cottage core energy,” she says. “As a personal lover of the tomato leaf scent that's taken the internet by storm, I can’t wait to get my hands on all the soaps and sprays.”
When the collection launches, you’ll find hand soap, dish soap, and multi-surface everyday cleaner (one of our favorite products from Mrs. Meyers!) in each of the three scents. Perra says one of her favorite things about the new fragrances is that they make regular household chores feel like a fresh summertime activity.
“The fresh cut grass and dandelion scents feel incredibly nostalgic to me. Mrs. Meyer's nailed the crisp grass smell and bright dandelion sensation,” she says. “Everyone has positive memories of summer days spent in the backyard—unless you’re the one doing the lawn mowing, of course!—and they bottled that feeling.”
Products will be available online and in-store from Amazon, The Home Depot, Target, and the Mrs. Meyer’s website. The summer collection will only be available through June 30, so don’t wait to stock up.
