Target is about to make this weekend’s grocery run that much more exciting with its launch of your new favorite kitchen essentials. Meet Figmint: With over 250 pieces, it's the first cookware exclusive brand by the retailer.
Figmint is designed to make cooking more fun, easy, and accessible to everyone. Prices start at $3, and it offers, specialty tools, food storage, cutlery, and more. More than half of the collection is under $10, a much-needed price point in the expensive world of cookware.
“What I love about Figmint is that this brand meets so many different guest needs," said executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target Jill Sando in a press release. "It's beautiful design at amazing prices. From product to packaging, the collection makes the kitchen more accessible to every home cook.'
To ease the burden of weeknight dinners, Figmint products were made for easy cleaning, and certain elements and features cleverly increase functionality.
Beyond its affordability, Target worked with occupational therapists when creating the products to ensure that the tools were not only simple to use, but that the packaging works for all kinds of home chefs—it features easy-open tabs, exposed grips and handles that make the tools easy to lift and carry. Pots have built-in pour spouts and strainers, and stainless steel handles stay cool. An added bonus: According to Target, more than 95% of the new brand’s items don’t have any plastic in the packaging at all.

When it comes to style, the brand feels modern, classic, and on-trend. Figmint items come in a range of soft, muted colors and high-quality materials like granite, stainless steel, and acacia wood—not only do they look good, but you'll also get years of use out of them. While they add a pop of color and texture, the products are minimalist enough to fit in with any kitchen aesthetic.
Take the Five-Piece Ceramic Mixing Bowl Set that's pretty enough to display, the Blue Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven compatible with induction, electric, and gas stoves, and the Acacia Wood Cutting Board made for cooking and hosting a charcuterie and wine night: If you're looking for versatility, this is the brand for you.
You can shop the collection in person at all Target stores and on target.com after its launch on September 24.
