As a pH-neutral cleaner, it’s safe for most hard-surface floors like stone, no-wax sealed tile, laminate, and luxury vinyl. The spray mechanism offers a linear stream or larger mist, making the process quick and easy regardless of how much floor you’re cleaning.
During testing, red crayon, dark soda, and dirt came up with just a couple of sprays and a single wipe, while tomato paste required more sprays and wiping to get it all off the floor. Compared to Dawn dish soap, the Bona did a better job at picking up harder stains, plus the floor didn’t need to be rinsed after cleaning.
After just two minutes, the floor was completely dry and no residue was detected. We also noticed that the tile looked shiny but wasn’t at all slippery.
For all of the pros, there are a couple of potential cons. The unscented formula might be ideal for those with sensitivities, but those who prefer a clean smell after scrubbing the floors might find this aspect lacking. Also, at about .54 cents per ounce, it’s priced on the higher side, which might be a consideration for budget-conscious consumers despite its effectiveness.

Just because you’ve cleaned a surface, doesn’t mean it’s necessarily been disinfected. The Lysol Multi-Surface Cleaner accomplishes both with one formula (it kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria), which is especially impressive considering it’s on the lower end of the price scale while delivering comparable effectiveness.
Dirt, dark soda, and red crayon came off easily during testing, while the tomato paste (the most difficult stain) took a bit more effort. It was unable to completely remove the dark soda, leaving behind a slight stain. That said, it was quick to dry—under two minutes—and had no leftover residue.
The cleaner can be used on any hard, non-porous surface such as appliance exteriors, countertops, bathtubs, and more. The non-porous part is important to emphasize because stone tile, for example, can be very porous.
We found that lemon and sunflower scent to be subtle and not at all overpowering, which is ideal for most because it enhances the cleaning experience without a strong chemical odor.
Because it’s a concentrate, you have to dilute it with water prior to cleaning. The bottle recommends 2 ounces per 1 gallon of water, so if you want to use a smaller spray bottle, you’ll have to calculate the correct proportions. This adds a step, but the flip side is that you’re able to stretch it much farther—you can make a total of 14 gallons.

Even with the best tile floor cleaners, scent can be a dealbreaker, especially for those with sensitive noses. Not with this one: Quick Shine’s Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner has a “fresh and clean” scent that we felt reminded us of a faint citrus. You won’t be overwhelmed or turned off by the smell at all.
The ease of use was a big pro during testing—nothing to measure or dilute, just squeeze the trigger and the cleaner comes out in a mist spray. We didn’t have to wait for the solution to soak in and were able to wipe it up immediately. If you’re looking for a stream spray though, you won’t find it here, so this may not be the right cleaner for you depending on your needs.
Stain removal was a snap with this cleaner, including challenging ones like tomato paste—and even that only required a little extra elbow grease. Cleaning the grout was more difficult— it still had a very faint stain from the dark soda and tomato paste. Two minutes after cleaning, the floor was completely dry and there was no residue.
