Our best overall pick is the Gravity Cooling Weighted Blanket. It’s soft and smooth with an ideal amount of pressure. It didn’t trap any heat during testing and kept us at a comfortable temperature, but it didn’t offer much airflow.

We gave it high scores for quality and comfort, and we love that the woven construction adds texture to the blanket and offers a lot of give without feeling flimsy. Because of its chunky look, it would make a perfect addition to a hygge-inspired home.
Thanks to the airy, knitted texture of this woven cotton blanket, it provides breathable coziness. It also seems to have a somewhat water-resistant design. When coffee was poured on it, the blanket didn't absorb the liquid, but instead it pooled underneath the blanket.
If you have pets, be mindful of using this blanket around them. We did notice that white pet hair was easily spotted on the darker-colored blanket, and sharp claws did create a few snags.
