Overall, our favorite silk sheets were the Quince Mulberry Silk Sheets, which are made of 100% mulberry silk. The sheets have a weight of 22 momme and a soft texture that made them comfortable to sleep on throughout testing.
After six months of using these sheets at home, we didn't notice any changes in terms of quality. Although we felt that the fitted sheet was a bit more prone to sliding and bunching as time went on, it had a deep pocket and still fit our mattress with ease. Plus, it never popped off the corners, which we experienced with other sets.
We thought the sheets were beautifully crafted and note that they had even stitching throughout. There were also zippers on the pillowcases, a thoughtful detail that we appreciated. We were concerned that the silk pillowcases may become discolored over time but that wasn't the case in our experience.
During lab testing, the sheets felt cool to the touch and remained breathable when changing positions in bed. While using them at home, these sheets became part of our regular rotation though we did reach for them more in warmer weather.
The fabric also held up against our abrasion tests in our testing lab. Although the sheets can be machine washed and seemed durable, the coffee, oil, and foundation stains were not easily removed like we had hoped. We didn't stain them while testing these at home, but keep in mind that this set may require a little extra care to ensure they don't get damaged.
Unlike some other options, this set is only offered in one color and two sizes. While they're a bit of an investment, we think the price is worth the quality and comfort we experienced while using them.

If you’re looking for satin sheets in a wide range of colors and sizes, you should add the Homiest Satin Sheets to your rotation. The sheets are made of a soft, lightweight polyester fabric that looks shiny and feels smooth.
While the sheets didn’t feel quite cool to the touch during lab testing, they still seemed to be quite breathable, so we think they'd be a great option for hot sleepers.
After washing the sheets, we didn’t notice any change in quality. They felt the same before and after the wash and while we noticed several unclipped threads at the end of stitches and in corners, we didn’t see any unraveling throughout our testing.
We liked that these sheets are offered in 30 colors. We didn’t see any color or dye transfer after washing these sheets, something we expected from a saturated fabric like these.
The fitted sheet fit comfortably on the mattress and the pillow slipped perfectly into the case. We did have trouble tucking in the top sheet, but we think this is more due to the slippery nature of the fabric, not the size.
After tossing and turning, our hair was standing straight up from the static, so these may not be the best sheets if you’re a restless sleeper. While our coffee and oil stains came out fairly well, the foundation stain remained after washing and even transferred to other parts of the sheet.
The sheet set, which includes one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, and two pillowcases, comes in eight different bed sizes. Plus, for standard bed sizes (twin, full, queen, and king), you can choose between the fitted sheet’s standard pocket or an extra deep pocket, a feature that’s especially useful for thicker mattresses.

Silk sheets are an investment overall, but we think the Lilysilk Seamless Silk Sheets are worth the splurge. The sheets are made of 100% Grade A mulberry silk with a silk weight of 19 momme. We were impressed with the soft and smooth texture of the fabric and found that they had even stitching and no loose threads.
After six months of trying them at home the sheets only got softer. During lab testing, we immediately observed the lightweight and breathable feel of the sheets. The sheets instantly absorbed a drop of water in our breathability test , proving that they wick away moisture easily. Such was the case when we used them at home and they kept us cool throughout the summer.
The sheets can suit mattresses up to 16 inches, so it was no surprise when we tested them on a 10-inch mattress and found that they fit easily on the bed with room to spare. And when testing these later at home, they never slipped off our 10-inch mattress, even with a 1.5-inch mattress topper. They also stayed fitted on the bed through tossing and turning.
In terms of durability, our dog dug at the sheets multiple times and never created a tear or snag. However, after six months of testing, we did notice some pilling appear around where our feet were, as well as the middle section of the sheets. Some light pilling can be expected with silk, however, so we weren't too concerned. Given that we exclusively used these sheets for half a year, we were impressed that there weren't any holes or loose threads.
We noted that the dye is very consistent throughout the fabric, and the color did not transfer during our colorfastness test. After washing these sheets are our testing lab, the sheets didn’t fade in color at all either. The quality appeared flawless even after machine washing them three times. We did notice the sheets lost some of their silky feel after washing, but they still remained smooth and soft to the touch.
Unfortunately, the sheets are not resistant to many stains. The foundation and coffee stains were still evident on the fabric after we washed the sheets at the testing lab.
It's worth noting that brand recommends dry cleaning the sheets for best results, which makes for an additional cost with each use. However, they can also be hand-washed or machine washed in lukewarm water on a gentle cycle and line-dried away from the sun for best results.

The Colorado Home Mulberry Silk Sheets are the best organic option. The fabric is made of GOTS-certified mulberry silk and has a silk weight of 22 momme, so it feels weighty yet still breathable. Plus, These sheets are available in three sizes and 10 colors.
We liked that the sheets still felt like they were brand new after six months of testing. The sheets are made with a deep pocket that fits mattresses up to 15 inches deep. Even after using them and washing them consistently at home, the sheets still fit our mattress with ease.
Even after multiple washes and a six months of at-home testing, the sheets look fairly new besides a few loose threads. We weren't surprised, however, given how durable they proved to be during lab testing. The silk fabric was completely undamaged after we rubbed it with steel wool. In fact, the steel wool didn’t cause any pilling or thinning to the fabric, and even the fabric’s silky sheen remained intact.
Unlike some other silk options, these sheets felt hot during the summer months. They didn't seem to retain any odors, however, which is great if you sweat while you use them.
We loved how cozy they were during the cooler seasons. We even noticed that we turned and snored less than we did on our regular cotton sheets, so we thought these sheets improved our sleeper routine overall.
In our lab stain tests, the sheets were resistant to some, but not all stains. The coffee stain was removed completely but the oil and foundation stains were still noticeable after washing the sheets, so you may have to mindful of any makeup or skincare you use.
The brand recommends hand washing the sheets with silk-friendly detergent to maintain their quality. If you prefer to machine wash them, they should be washed on a gentle cycle using a delicate wash bag and laid flat to dry.

The Mulberry Park Silk Sheet Set is constructed with 100% natural mulberry silk, so they're a great way to make your bedding especially luxurious. We used these sheets at home for six months and were impressed by the silky feel, as well as the temperature-regulating properties.
The sheet set is offered in four sizes and nine colors. It includes a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and two pillowcases with zipper closures. During testing, we found that the silk fabric is smooth and cool to the touch, making it a great option for year-round comfort.
The sheets are machine washable though we opted to wash them by hand at home. However, there were a few stains we thought would have come out better had they been washed in a machine. Plus, the sheets wrinkled easily, which we didn't love.
After using these for six months, we felt that this set was great to use all year. The sheets kept us warm in the colder months and cool in the summer season, which we particularly liked. We've kept this set in our typical bedding rotation because of their versatility.
Overall, we felt that the sheets are very well constructed. The stitching was clean and even throughout, and we didn’t notice any imperfections or loose threads upon inspection. The sheets, which are suited for mattresses up to 16 inches in depth, easily fit on the mattress we tested them on and stayed tucked in even after we tossed and turned on them. If you need a different pocket size, however, the set is also offered in 15 inches of 17 inches as well.
Although the sheets are more expensive than other options, we found that the pieces are highly resistant to oil stains and are durable against abrasions, so they should last for years to come. They didn’t fare as well with coffee, foundation, or tanning oil stains, however, so you’ll want to keep that in mind if you go with this set.

If you're looking for a sheet set that'll offer a silky feel without the silk price point, consider the Decolure Satin Sheet Set. The set is offered in four sizes and 21 different colors, so you’ll be able to find one to suit your home.
During home testing, the elastic on the fitted sheet loosened a bit over time but the sheets still fit our mattress. There were also a few loose threads and seams. We were surprised to find that these sheets seemed to snag easily given that they seemed to be durable during the abrasion tests we conducted at our testing lab. Because of this, we think these may be better suited for more limited use, like in a guest room.
During our breathability test at the lab, the water immediately dispersed on the fabric, indicating that the sheets have good moisture management. This tracked while testing the sheets at home as we preferred to use them in the summer months. However, we did intend to keep using the pillowcases all year as they improved our skin and hair texture.
You’ll appreciate that the sheets are machine washable and can be tumble-dried for easy care. During lab testing, the texture and feel of the fabric remained the same after we washed it three times, and there were no loose threads or snags after washing. In fact, the sheets continued to get softer after six months of use.
The sheets were successful at resisting oil and coffee stains in our testing lab, though we noticed the foundation was still visible on the top sheet after washing. We tested the royal blue shade and found that the washed sheets faded slightly in color compared to the unwashed pillowcase due to the rich shade of the dye.
The color of the sheets did not transfer during our colorfastness test so the dye is unlikely to fade more over time, but we think these are a great option for bedding that won’t need to be washed as often.
