We felt this pet hair remover exceeded expectations, with its 5/5 ratings across the board during testing. Assembly was simple, with all the parts clicking into place. The vacuum itself is lightweight, easily able to hold (there’s a retractable handle) while vacuuming the stairs.
It has HEPA filtration, a bag you can easily access and change out, a 26-foot retractable cord, and convenient on-board tool storage. Accessories include a dusting brush, pet attachment, crevice tool, and bare floor brush.
For extended reach, there’s also a telescoping wand, while a detachable handle is ideal for furniture and other tight spaces.
On the carpet, this vacuum picked up the pet hair like a champ, getting large clumps even on the lowest suction setting in a max of two passes (increased suction levels only required one).
The lowest suction setting wasn’t as successful on hardwood floors. Though medium and high performed better, we did have to lift the vacuum head and set it down on top of the hair a few times to get it all. After testing, there was no pet hair stuck in the brushes or around the wheels.

Sometimes pet hair needs more than just a vacuum, which is where carpet cleaners come in to get rid of the remaining dander, dirt, odor, and stains. A great carpet cleaner can work wonders, and this one receives high praise for its functionality.
The cleaner is not on wheels, but it’s 11 pounds and easy enough to move around. We appreciated the retractable handle and the ability to smoothly swap out attachments. Though we only needed the standard attachment for our tests, it comes with a 2-in-1 brush and rubber tool.
The water tank holds 96 ounces, so it should be large enough to cover a wide area. It’s clearly labeled—we had no confusion about where the water and cleaning solutions should go and the fill-lines were distinctive.
In testing, we went over the stained areas with cleaning and suction passes. The dark soda stain required the least scrubbing, closely followed by red wine. Marinara sauce and mustard left a bit of residue behind after the two-minute cleaning period.
That said, the carpet was left smelling fresh and clean. We think that it would be a nice option for waste-related messes or deeply embedded hair. It was also effective on upholstery.
We did find that the hose was a bit less flexible than we would have liked, but we suspect this might be because it was brand-new and the plastic had not been broken in.

This cordless vacuum holds its own against even the best corded options, so much so that we purchased it immediately after trying it out. Most impressive was the efficiency—a defining characteristic that sets this one apart.
Clearing all the debris on the steps, hardwood floors, and carpet was “a breeze,” with no attachments necessary, though it does come with a telescoping crevice tool and 2-in-1 dusting brush. Even in tricky corners, the hair never ended up being pushed around.
There are no settings to change when switching between flooring types, which is a non-issue because the vacuum is able to automatically adjust suction based on the debris detected by its infrared sensor.
In testing, the noise level was very manageable. The low setting allowed us to carry on a full conversation at a low volume, while the high setting necessitated raised voices but didn’t make the sound travel to a different floor.
We never experienced pulling, stalling, or tangling as the canister filled up. In fact, the high power mode applied so much suction that it was hard to move the vacuum across carpet, even when the canister was full. (This level is ideal for tricky floorboard cracks and embedded dust in carpet fibers.)
The one struggle was with maneuverability when pulling the vacuum back against a tight corner: because the head is rectangular instead of tapered, it would catch on chair legs.
The results were similarly impressive on upholstery: it fully cleaned the upholstery with the rubber end of the dusting brush in one pass. The vacuum filters 99.99% of 0.3-micron particles with 4-stage, Dual-HEPA filtration, including the washable pre-filter.
It’s able to run up to 40 minutes, though you can also purchase an extra battery to double that without more charging time. When not in use, the vacuum can be stored on its mountable charging dock that includes an accessory holder.
