They don’t come in full size.

The Brielle Home Sateen Sheet Set has a silky smooth texture with a bit of shine, making them both stylish and comfortable. They feel soft and cool to the touch and remained so even after laundering, though wrinkles can form quite easily.

The set is offered in four different colors—white, gray, teal, and blush—but availability will vary depending on the size. Note that these don’t come in full size, unlike some other sets.

We used this set at home for six months and were impressed by how cooling they were. When we slept on them during the colder months, it would at first feel like we were lying down on a bed of ice. However, these sheets do regulate their temperature, so we were able to sleep cozy and comfortable all night.

Our post-wash measurements in the testing lab show some shrinkage, though we were still able to fit the sheets back on the mattress as easily as the first time. The sheets are stitched beautifully, and we only noticed one loose string on the flat sheet after a wash. We liked that the pillowcases have an extra flap to hide the pillow.

After washing, we found that the sheets were snug on the mattress.

If you want to invest in luxury sheets, these Cozy Earth sheets are some of the best worth considering. In lab testing, we found these high-quality sheets didn’t have any loose threads or other flaws. Plus, they feel cool to the touch and have a silky texture, but not so much that you'll be slipping and sliding out of bed at night.

Six months of testing later, and we’re still in love with these incredibly soft sheets. In fact, they’ve become the only bedding we’re using, which means they’ve been put through many wash cycles.

These sheets have a shiny surface, which could be bad news when they get wrinkled. However, wrinkling isn’t an issue with these sheets. Overall, these Cozy Earth sheets wash up well, staying soft and wrinkle-free wash after wash, unlike some other similar styles.

We’re happy to report they’ve held up well aside from a loose thread here or there. Overall, the price tag is worth feeling like we’re sleeping on fancy hotel sheets every night.

If there’s one thing you should note, it’s that you might want to give your nighttime skincare routine some time to soak in before heading to bed, as moisturizing right before could likely lead to oily stains on these sheets.

The fitted sheet pulled on snugly and there wasn't much give after washing, but they still stayed in good condition and didn’t have any loose threads. Plus, we felt that the embroidered logo offers a nice high-end touch.

The sandpaper test tore a hole in them, proving them less durable than other options on our list

As far as hemp sheets go, Tuft and Needle’s Hemp Sheet Set impressed us from the beginning with their soft and almost silky feeling despite having a linen look to them. The hemp fibers felt cool to the touch, and while the sheets were substantial and not overly thin, we experienced impressive breathability with them.

After six months of use, these sheets still felt as soft and comfortable as the first time we slept on them. We didn’t notice any shrinking, color fading, or wear and tear; we’ll attribute our good fortune to the fact that we washed these sheets on a cold cycle.

Despite their thickness, these sheets keep us sleeping comfortably in any season. We noticed some pilling from the sheets left behind on the mattress, but this didn’t affect their texture or durability and is likely the fault of the mattress, not the sheets.

Upon opening, we were also impressed by the quality of these hemp sheets. There weren’t any missed stitches, loose threads, color inconsistencies, or other imperfections. While we found the 16-inch pockets on the fitted sheet to be somewhat loose on our mattress, the corners held tight when we rolled around in bed.

When we washed these sheets after intentionally staining them with coffee, oil, and foundation in the lab, the stains were completely removed without a trace. Where these sheets disappointed us, though, was in the durability test when sandpaper was able to discolor and actually tear a hole in them.

They weren’t as stain-resistant as we would have liked.

For a breathable option that has a silky finish, consider this set from Lanest Housing. The satin sheets are less expensive than other options, and are offered in a variety of colors and sizes.

When we tested these sheets, we didn’t notice any loose threads or imperfections. We liked the soft and light feel, which remained the same after being washed.

In terms of breathability, we placed a few drops of water on them and found that it spread quickly, meaning they have good moisture management. The sheets felt cool-to-touch as well, and we gave them a perfect score for breathability overall.

We put small amounts of foundation, oil, and coffee on the sheets and found that they were not as stain-resistant as we would have hoped. While there was just a slight coffee stain left, the foundation was not removed and the oil left a round circle on the sheet.

They’re a bit more expensive than some other sets.

Percale sheets are known for being cooling, so you can’t go wrong with this Lands’ End set. We were impressed by the super soft, almost silky feel of these sheets.

During testing, we noted that these Lands’ End sheets were made of durable, high-quality fabric. There was a long string that came loose from the stitching on the top sheet, but it didn’t cause any unraveling, and there were no other flaws or snags visible.

These sheets also held up well in the wash as we noted they emerged without very many wrinkles and fit the bed well. Assuming they will stay as soft and silky after numerous washings, we thought that these Lands’ End sheets were worth the higher price point.

The sheet set is offered in seven colors, so you can choose which suits your home best. If you’re unsure, however, you can even order a free swatch from Lands’ End to see the color and feel the texture before committing.

These have nearly 6 times the thread count of others on the list, which makes them warmer.

Bamboo sheets have also proven to be cooling but if you want to see for yourself, give these Bampure ones a try. We noted that the sheets were cool and soft. Plus, they had a silky smooth texture with a bit of shine that offered a high-end appearance.

We tested these sheets at home for six months and even though bamboo sheets are ideal for warmer weather, they kept us cozy during the colder weather, too. These sheets washed up quite well throughout the testing period and felt as silky as they were the first time we used them.

Although they’re not as hefty as cotton or linen, they certainly don’t wrinkle as much, which is a bonus unless you actually enjoy ironing your sheets.

The thread count on this set is 1,800 which means it should be a bit warmer than other options. However, the sheets still felt cool and breathable, even after laying under them for a few minutes. While testing them at home, we confirmed they felt soft and lightweight over time as well.

The sheets maintained their softness after the wash, and there were no visible signs of wear and tear. There was some slight shrinkage after washing but even if they did shrink more, the stretchy elastic band at the corners of the fitted sheet would ensure it stayed on tight.

There were a few loose threads and a minor snag on the top sheet.

If you’re stuck in a rut of ivory, white, or otherwise neutral-colored bed sheets, you’ll love the variety of color options the Linenwalas Tencel Lyocell Bed Sheets come in. The Tencel lyocell sheets are offered in a variety of set sizes as well as 24 colors, so you won’t struggle to find the perfect shade for your home.

The set includes a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and two pillowcases. It’s less expensive than other options as well, so you can potentially get a few sets for guest rooms as well.

During our long-term testing of these sheets, we found the color remained vibrant. After six months, the sheets still felt as good as when we first tried them, and we didn’t notice any shrinkage. We hadn’t used eucalyptus sheets before this set but after trying these, we wanted more sets for our home.

They are so lightweight that even a king-size set will still leave room in your washing machine when it’s laundry day. They do get wrinkled when folded in storage, but they’re fine when taken straight from the dryer to make the bed.

The texture of the sheets is silky and feels cool to the touch. We noticed a few loose threads and one minor snag but overall, we felt that they were a high-quality set. After washing, the sheets still maintained their softness as well.

The set doesn’t come with a top sheet.

We loved the smooth texture of these Parachute sheets, noting their soft and crisp feel in both our lab and at-home tests. The sheets are offered in seven colors and are the best cooling sheets if you prefer a cotton option.

While these sheets didn’t feel cool to the touch, we found that they’re still quite breathable and moisture-wicking, absorbing a drop of water in just three seconds during our lab test. During our six-month home testing period, we even fought a fever and the sheets kept us cool but not chilly.

During home testing, we found the sheets got softer with regular washing, and we didn’t notice any discoloring, stains, or loose threads. In fact, they looked as good as the day we first tried them.

To avoid wrinkling, we recommend taking them out of the dryer right away. It’s still easy to make the bed with them so we know these sheets haven’t shrunk; however, the elastic on the fitted sheet isn’t quite as strong as it was in the beginning and it will come untucked from the mattress.

We’re confident the sheets are high quality, as we didn’t notice any loose threads or snags and the color didn’t fade after months of testing. However, they’re not as stain-resistant compared to others we tested.

They wrinkle easily and it’s recommended that you hand wash and air dry them.

If you’re looking for a luxurious addition to your bedding, consider the Mulberry Park Silk Sheet Set. During testing, we were impressed by the construction of these luxuriously soft sheets that didn’t have any loose threads or imperfections.

Throughout testing, these sheets also stayed cool to the (very silky) touch. Even though these sheets are a bit slippery while making the bed, we found they had plenty of room at the corners to keep them tucked in during testing. When testing their moisture-wicking properties, we found the sheets absorbed the water drop quickly.

We were better able to appreciate the temperature-regulating ability of these sheets during the six months of home testing. Even when the outside temperature dropped, these sheets kept us warm.

The silky texture is still there, but it’s gotten even softer with use. The sheets and pillowcases still fit the bed easily—no stretching or shrinking here—but we continueed to hand wash and air dry them to protect the fabric. These high-maintenance sheets tend to wrinkle easily, but we’re willing to overlook this flaw because they are so soft and cozy to sleep on.

While the oil stain disappeared after laundering during lab testing, the coffee and foundation stains stuck around, which was disappointing given how pricey these sheets are. However, there was no pilling or loss of fibers, which is another testament to the quality of these sheets.
