TikTok's Dessert Bowls Are Quite Possibly the Best Treat You've Ever Tried

It's all your favorites in one.

TikTok creators are fully embracing dessert, and their followers are literally eating it up. But this trend doesn't just involve a couple of Chips Ahoy cookies or a single piece of pie—it's all about dessert bowls, and it looks like making them is almost as satisfying as eating them.

Think of your favorite cookie, cereal, ice cream, and candy but mixed together—that’s a dessert bowl. Creating your own isn't a complicated process, and it results in an indulgent mix of satisfying and bite-size sweet (and sometimes salty) treats.

TikTok creator @brettsbites seems to have started the trend, and her first video featuring her dessert bowl racked up 1.6 million views. Since then, others have posted their own versions: @laneygrn’s most-viewed dessertbowl video (she has a whole series and her bio is "ceo of dessert bowls") has gotten 790,000 views and counting.

Her popular take includes the last of a bag of cookie dough granola, one Space Dunk Oreo, a handful of three different cereals, half of a caramel-flavored protein bar, a scoop of Ben and Jerry’s Peanut Butter Cup and Lights Caramel Action ice cream, and more. Is your mouth watering yet? As one commenter wrote: “Yes, finally someone who eats dessert like me LOL throwing everything together in a bowl is so good.”

As over-the-top, sweet, and decadent as some dessert bowls appear to be, there are less filling, healthier recipes you can find by perusing the app.

Creator @nat.eberhart recently shared her own banana pudding dessert bowl (inspired by Trader Joe's limited-edition banana pudding ice cream), combining Coco Whip, cut-up banana, mini chocolate chips, and Siete cookies in strawberry and Mexican shortbread flavors. The simple combo looks like it gives you a delicious and light way to enjoy something sweet after dinner. On @juliasfuelfitness's page, where she shares her daily meals, she made a simple, low-sugar dessert bowl with ingredients like grapes, blueberries, and peanut cacao crunch cereal.

Dessert bowls don’t have to be limited to, well, bowls. Creator @bayleenicole put together a sweet snack bag filled with popcorn, peanut MandMs, Smart Sweets watermelon, and Swedish Fish. Whatever your vessel, you can't go wrong with enjoying your favorite treats all at once. And at the end of a long day, it's what you deserve.
